(A superior learning experience from experts from all walks of life. Plus, my take on each course I watch.)
Niki Nakayama, from her MasterClass: Modern Japanese Cooking
Dateline: June 1, 2021
This week, I started taking Niki Nakayama's Japanese Cooking Class… so far, I'm loving it. Of course, living in Japan, I have some of the knowlege Chef Nakayama and her wife, Carole Iida share in their MasterClass, but I find I'm learning a lot as well. So, hats off! If you would like a guest pass to MasterClass, I have three to give away through June 21, 2021. Grab one for you or a loved one, while you can. I only have three!
For years, I have wanted to join in on the pleasure that is MasterClass. This year, my father gave me a gift subscription, and I couldn't be more happy. Check back here for my notes on each of the classes I take, and download my notes for any class you find interesting! Notes are coming soon…!
Aaron Sorkin, from his MasterClass: Aaron Sorkin Teaches Screenwriting
Dateline: June 7, 2021
I rounded out Niki Nakayama's Modern Japanese Cooking Master Class this week, so my full review will follow shortly this week, and my notes on the class, likely the week after.
So, now I'm on to one of the masters of screenwriting. As a story analyst myself, I've always liked Sorkin's writing, even before I knew he was the guy behind the films I enjoyed. Since I haven't watched much television these last twenty five years, I'm actually not familiar with much of his TV writing—regardless, there is still a lot to learn from him. I still have a few guest passes to MasterClass, but only three until June 21, 2021. Get 'em while they're hot.
